Our Return Philosophy

At Smartly Saves, we want you to be happy with every order. Here is a quick look at our transparent policy:

  • 30-day returns for new, unopened, and resellable items.

  • Issue Reporting: Tell us about damages within 7 days (48h for perishables).

  • Refunds: Issued to your original payment method after inspection.

Starting Your Return

To initiate a return, email support@smartlysaves.com with your Order Number and the reason. For damaged or incorrect items, attach clear photos. Wait for our reply with your RMA instructions. Do not send items back without authorization; unauthorized returns may be refused.

Item Condition & Eligibility

Items must be unused, unopened, in original packaging, and in resellable condition. All accessories and inner packs must be included. We reserve the right to reject or adjust refunds for items that arrive used, opened, or missing components.

Non-Returnable Items

For safety and hygiene, the following cannot be returned:

  • Perishables (food & beverages) once shipped, unless damaged in transit.

  • Final-sale or “short-dated” items where the condition was disclosed.

  • Personal care, sanitary goods, gift cards, or downloadable software.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Report these issues within 7 days of delivery (48 hours for food). If tracking shows “Delivered” but you can’t find it, contact us within the same window for a carrier trace. Note: Porch theft is not covered and is a matter for the carrier and local authorities.

Refunds & Timelines

Once your return arrives and passes inspection, we will notify you of the approval or rejection.

  • Processing: Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 3–5 business days.

  • Banking: Note that your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit to your account.

  • Shipping Fees: Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Shipping for Returns

  • Our Error: If the return is due to our error (wrong, damaged, or defective item), we provide a prepaid label.

  • Other Cases: In all other cases, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility and will be deducted from the refund when we provide a label.

  • Instructions: Use the provided label and follow all packing instructions. We recommend keeping your drop-off receipt and tracking until your refund is fully processed.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund after our confirmation:

  1. Double-check your bank or credit card statement.

  2. Contact your bank or card issuer; processing times vary by institution.

  3. If the credit still hasn’t appeared, reach out to us at support@smartlysaves.com.

Order Cancellations & Exchanges

  • Exchanges: We do not process direct exchanges. Please place a new order for the item you want and request a return for the original.

  • Cancellations: We can only attempt to cancel orders that have not yet shipped. Once in transit, the standard return policy applies.

Our Quality Warranty

  • Non-food items: 30-day limited warranty against manufacturer defects.

  • Food & Beverages: Guaranteed for quality at delivery only. Report concerns within 48 hours.

  • Important: Keep all defective items and packaging until we advise on next steps (we may request photos, video, or a return for inspection).
